Welcome to Ilan Ramon Day School!

We are excited to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year as we begin anew at our beautiful campus in the hills of Agoura.

As Ilan Ramon’s Head of School, I am excited to lead our community well into its 30th year! This milestone is an opportunity for us to reflect on our storied history, celebrate our stellar achievements and nurturing community, and salute our dedicated alumni. It is also an opportunity to begin to dream big as we plan for a bright and enduring future!

Rav Kook, the Chief Rabbi of pre-State Israel, over a century ago, wrote in his commentary to the Torah, הישן יתחדש והחדש יתקדש, “The old will be renewed, and the new made holy.” Rav Kook presents a profound challenge for our Ilan Ramon community: to take our successful past and shape it into an ever bolder present and future.

Our school’s mission is to cultivate a deep love of learning and curiosity in the next generation of American citizenry and Jewish adults! Our excellent individualized program develops in our students the academic and social-emotional skills needed to navigate the challenges of the 21st century. “The old will be renewed and the new, made holy.”
